The holidays are over and 2013 has kicked off without a hitch. The thank you cards have been written and Santa’s gifts are being appreciated. However, many times the beauty of gift giving means we end up with gift cards that we have absolutely no use for whatsoever. I am someone who always loves getting and giving gift cards because it allows the recipient to choose their perfect gift when the time is right. Yet, even I have received gift cards to places I have no interest whatsoever at shopping at or that have such a minimal balance compared to the cost of products at a particular store. I ended up choosing $50 in Chapters/Indigo Gift Cards for my husband, which was the perfect gift. He ended up going out last week and using those gift cards to snag books for himself and the kids, which they loved! The whole transaction was super easy from start to finish.
