Living in Canada means we have some very cold weather. Over the last couple months, we have been anywhere from -10 Degrees Celsius to a super low of -30 Degrees Celsius. There are really only a couple summer months that have really warm temperatures here in Alberta. The rest of the time, I find myself needing a jacket. This is where Columbia Sportswear comes in. They have just the right cold weather essentials I need for my entire family!
When it came time for a new jacket for myself, there was no question in my mind where I would get a jacket from. I have loved Columbia Sportswear for as long as I can remember. It is my go-to brand for all cold-weather apparel. Each year they come out with such fabulous jacket choices that the hardest part is just choosing one. I fell in love with the Women’s Mighty Lite Hooded Jacket and knew it was the one for me. I wanted a jacket that would keep me as warm as possible and the long silhouette was perfect. It features Omni-Heat thermal reflective and insulated. It basically means that your body heat reflects within the coat and you don’t have a bulky coat to worry about. It is ridiculously thin, which you can’t beat! It has a inner security pocket, which saves me the time of having to bring a purse everywhere. I especially love the comfort cuffs and thumb holes. I love this jacket and can’t recommend it enough!
My youngest received the Double Trouble Jacket. Its Omni-Shield advanced repellency sheds water and resists stains to keep you dry and protected. Again, it is ridiculously thin, which is so nice when putting him in his car seat. I don’t have to worry about a bulky coat that I would have to take off of him in the car and then put him in his seat. It is reversible, so it is like having two jackets for the price of one. He looks so sharp in it and can even do the zipper all on his own! Columbia Sportswear has the right jacket for your little one too!
