Thanks to Nickelodeon and the Shout!Factory, I received the Aaahh!!! Real Monsters: Season Two that officially releases May 15th! I am a huge fan of Nickelodeon as are my children and we had not previously seen this show. Since my Son loves monsters, I had no doubt that this would be a favorite for him to watch and I was right! The best part about these monsters are the fact that they are relatable, fun and compassionate, on top of doing monster things. This also features the voice talent of Tim Curry {huge fan!} and James Belushi!

Ickis, Oblina and Krumm are back for a second season of spine-chilling, gut-busting adventures! Sit back and enjoy as these three young monsters take everything they’ve learned from The Gromble about scaring and put it to good use. That is, of course, unless they’re trapped by Simon, the most determined monster-hunter in town!

When it comes to adorable programming, one of my favorite shows to share with my children is Jack and the Never Land Pirates! The episodes are always fun, educational and child-friendly. So I was excited to get the chance to review the newest DVD, Jake & the Never Land Pirates: Peter Pan Returns! Since my children have not seen Peter Pan before, they absolutely loved this DVD. My Daughter especially enjoyed seeing Peter Pan and now requests to watch this DVD just by saying “I wanna watch Peter Pan.” Each episode kept them entertained and I especially enjoy watching Captain Hook and Smee because they are so comical. Plus, the DVD came with a Digital Copy so my children can enjoy it on my iPod out and about!

“Peter Pan is back––but his shadow is missing! When Peter loses his shadow while playing a game of Catch-Me-If-You-Can, he returns to Never Land to seek help from his kid pirate friend Jake. Embarking on one of his most daring and exciting adventures ever, Jake and his kid pirate pals, Izzy and Cubby, along with lookout parrot Skully, must use teamwork to find Peter’s shadow and return it to its rightful owner. However, their mission is nearly thwarted by the fiendish Captain Hook, and his bumbling first mate Mr. Smee.
