We have been fans of NETFLIX for several years now and thanks to the more recent establishment of a dedicated kids section, viewing Netflix at our house has gotten even better! With two children and an infant, it is extremely important that what we watch in our home is family-friendly. Normally, this would have meant that I would help the children go through NETFLIX to find shows suitable for them to watch. However, thanks to the addition of a dedicated kids section, I know that what my children are watching is suitable for all ages 2-12. Since my children are obviously in the younger age-group, I have let them know that some of the programs are still too old for them, but with such a large selection of movies and TV shows to choose from, this hasn’t been a problem.

One of my favorite aspects of NETFLIX is the fact you can watch it anywhere and have many device options to watch it from as well! For us, we watch our favorite shows and movies on the Playstation 3. The set-up was super easy and my children can navigate to NETFLIX effortlessly. The option even comes up for them to go to the kids section, which is perfect. They were especially excited to see all the new content that was recently added for them to watch. My Daughter’s favorite is definitely My Little Pony. With 3 seasons of My Little Pony for her to watch, she is all set! She is also a huge fan of Caillou and Angelina Ballerina, which are both available to watch as well!

My Husband also often lets our Daughter watch her favorite shows from his laptop. This is great for times when she wants to watch downstairs or when the TV is being used. Plus, we take our laptop with us when we visit family, so we can watch NETFLIX anywhere we go with Internet access! I was also pleasantly surprised to see that ParaNorman has recently been added and since I have yet to see that, I know what I will be watching!

What are you watching on TV with your family? Netflix has family favorites from Disney, Disney Jr., Hasbro, Cartoon Network and Dreamworks that are available to stream anytime, anywhere.
And streaming is easier than you think! Download the free app on your iPad, click on the Netflix app on any gaming device, go to the website on your computer – and you’re in business. Check it out here!

When you are a Mom, time really does seem to fly by. It seems like just yesterday that my Son was a baby. I can remember being in the hospital and feeling so anxious to get my new baby home. I can still recall how much I loved, and still love, to just lay next to him. My Husband was just over-the-moon with excitement and my Mother-in-Law was so in awe of him. Naturally, I took a ton of photos, but so do most moms {hehe}. One of my favorite’s is my Son’s first “Home with Daddy” photo. My Husband just couldn’t seem to hold him enough, which usually meant I had to almost pry the baby out of his arms to feed him {hehe}!

There is also the ever-adorable first “Cuddling with Kitty” photo, which has my Son and our kitty cat, Austin, cuddled up in a homemade Winnie the Pooh blanket. I still have that blanket and thanks to this photo, a memory I will never forget!

As the first months past, my Son only got more charismatic and adorable. I like to call this picture, “Lil’ Frisky,” as he was definitely a bundle of energy and that smile could, and still does, melt a million hearts! Since our youngest is only 3 months, I can really see how much he looks like his older brother for sure! Reminiscing really brings back such fabulous memories and makes me miss my Son’s early years.

My Son’s first trip to Disneyland was shortly after his first birthday. I had never been to Disneyland either and surprisingly, taking a 1-year-old to Disneyland was a fantastic experience, aside from dragging around a car seat on the airplane. He absolutely loved going on the rides and his adorable smile kept everyone in good spirits. Of all the pictures I took of Disneyland on that trip, this is the photo I love remembering the most!
