Easy Sugar Cookie Snowflakes

This year, I didn’t bake as much for the holiday season as the years before. I decided to go the easier route and bake just a few select favourites. Since my kids are crazy about cookies, most everything I made was some kind of cookie. Their favourite of all was my Easy Sugar Cookie Snowflakes. It pairs a classic recipe with some super easy decorating. You can’t go wrong!

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sugar

  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.

  3. Mix in vanilla and egg followed by flour and baking powder.

  4. Divide mixture into 2 balls and cool in fridge for at least one hour.

Each snowflake was created by using Wilton Decorating Icing and fun pastel decorating balls (sprinkles). And yes, it is THAT easy.
